OS: Fedora 41 with Conda environment, in pycharm as well as other IDEs
The error can be fixed by removing the “[project.urls]” section (all 4 lines) from the pyproject.toml file
TL;DR:
when you have an error with running “pip install .” that looks like the one above, remove this code block:
