Vehicle Models and Cost Functions

Apart from a scenarios, CommonRoad benchmarks are composed by a vehicle model and a cost function. Vehicle models range from simple to complicated: The simplest model is a point-mass model, while the most complicated one is a multi-body model. All models are presented in state-space form to facilitate their implementation in standard solvers for ordinary differential equations.
